Q: Does QXpress have a copy of my database in case of hard drive crashes or other situations where I lose data?

A: QXpress does not store your database, but it will allow you to make a backup of your database. We recommend backing up your database daily. This can be done by going to File > Backup My Database. You can then save your database anywhere you would like, either on your local hard drive, a network hard drive, or an external hard drive.

Q: How do I turn off the auto-refresh button on the calendar screen?

A: To turn off the auto-refresh feature, go to Edit > Preferences > Routing & Scheduling > Auto Calendar Refresh. Here you can set it to a time increment of your choice.

Q: I am trying to schedule job packages, where do I go to set them up?

A: If you are unable to see your job packages, please to go Edit > Preferences > Routing & Scheduling > Show Job Packages. Check that option, then go to Lists > Job Packages.

Q: A member of my crew is taking the day off, how do I reflect this on My Calendar?

A: To do this, go to Lists > Crews/Techs > Block Availability > Add.

Q: I have moved QXpress from one computer to another, how can I change the key?

A: If you need to register a new key for QXpress, please call our Support Team at 1-888- 797-7377.

Q: I have just added a customer in QuickBooks and he/she did not come over to QXpress. What am I doing wrong?

A: If a customer has not come over to QXpress, you will need to perform a full sync. To do so, please refer to the article about how to do a full sync with QuickBooks.
